Disneyland's Secret Restroom

The beautiful art nouveau lighting fixture in the center of the Secret Restroom's ceiling is sufficient for even the darkest day, but was formed with smoked panels to reduce glare and shine with a calming yellow light.

The hand-wrought metalwork was created by a Disney craftsman working in his spare time at the blacksmith shop at the Circle D ranch (located behind Disneyland).

The bulbs within the lighting fixture are connected with the central lighting computer so that dead or under-performing bulbs will be instantly detected and corrected. For more than five years, the Secret Restroom has exclusively used energy-saving bulbs, which are good both for the planet and the environment!
