Disneyland's Secret Restroom

Because the Secret Restroom's tiles are all individually hand formed and laid, no two are exactly alike.

The main wall tiles are laid in an alternating red/yellow "clown pants" pattern with intervening white cement. The colors and pattern were chosen to mesh well with the Carnation Plaza Gardens color scheme, while maintaining the Secret Restroom's high-class profile.

At one time, the nature of the device mounted on the wall at the far point of this photo was a complete mystery to us. Thankfully, our loyal reader Dave E. wrote to us, letting us know that this is (in Dave's words) "an timed automatic fragrance sprayer."

Additional research seems to strongly support Dave E.'s theory. We are now investigating the nature of the scent that was broadcast from this device and whether or not it a) is changed seasonally, and b) is coordinated with the scent of the soap in the soap dispenser across the room from it.
