Disneyland's Secret Restroom

Exterior views

In the morning, the Secret Restroom sits in the shadow of trees, helping to regulate its temperature and keep those lined up for their turn free from sunstroke and sweat burns.

The building itself is astride a small hill, which helps disguise its true capacity and makes it look more like a small home than anything else.

At dusk, with the sun beginning to set, the Secret Restroom's exterior light (discussed in more detail elsewhere on this site) comes on to give the entire area a pleasing glow.

At full night, the Secret Restroom's transformation is complete. You can see how, with a little decoration and the lights turned down, this location is so easily transformed into one of the prime locations for Mickey's Halloween Treat trick-or-treating parties.

In this rare after-hours photo (taken with a night-vision camera by a guest who "accidentally" hid on the roof of a Tarzan's Treehouse structure until after the park closed), we can see the Secret Restroom after midnight.

Observant readers will note that the gate next to the Secret Restroom is open. This gate leads to a castmember-only area, in which are stored a wide variety of items deemed too mysterious and/or magical for visual consumption by the general public.
